so i wrote this song in late 2013 and debuted it live to public at the Esplanade Concourse for one of my gigs (Come Together: Kai and Friends, 26 Feb 2014). it's about sadness and being sad, and more sadness.

i'm definitely still learning and growing as a musician/singer so i'm not sure that the art i'm putting out (if it can be called that) is worth much if anything, hence the free download option. if you're the kind of person who feels they need to pay for their music there's an option for that too, but please don't feel obliged. besides, paypal takes more than half of that $1 right now so don't do anything rash. (due to bandcamp restrictions which force a minimum price on album pre-orders you can get around it by clicking on the download button next to the individual track, and naming your price - yes, zero is a price)

audio was independently recorded and produced in my bedroom with a native instruments komplete audio 6, native instruments komplete elements, and ableton live 8.

Alvin Ho from Positron Productions very kindly offered to shoot the MV for me (tinyurl.com/goodbyemv) and he also had a huge hand in the conceptualising and storyboarding and creative direction of the video so many thanks and much props to him for that; do check out the company at positronproductions.com as well as on facebook and twitter (links below!).
